HBHUSO Community Arts Center Rental Fees 2018
Business hours of the Community Arts Center are Monday through Thursday 9am - 9pm, Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 9am - 1pm. The Community Arts Center follows, in general, the City of Wilmington's Closing Schedule of Holidays.
The Community Arts Center is available to non-profit organizations for rehearsals and board meetings at no charge if admission is not charged or donations accepted during normal business hours. Proof of non-profit status must be presented before space can be confirmed. For all other non-profit events please refer to the rate chart. Requests for space must be submitted no less than 7 business days prior to usage. Space is allocated and confirmed on a first come/ first serve basis by the CAC Director. No space is guaranteed unless confirmed by Director. All contracts require a $500.00 deposit, non-refundable if event cancelled less than 30 days before the contract date. The deposit may be reduced at the Director's discretion if the event is ticketed through the CAC.
Please see the rates below and note: A charge of 1 dollar per ticket will be added for all ticketed events. These funds are used to pay for items that are outside of the City's normal repairs and maintenance items. The funds will be placed in a separate account and any disbursement will be approved by the City of Wilmington and Thalian Board of Directors.
